Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and motivation to increasing South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) products and services during an engagement along with the agency's senior supervisors at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric exams.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% with the registered pupils while in the instruction sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
